Bigg Boss OTT 3’s Poulomi Das On Trolls Calling Her ‘Kali-Kaluti,’ After Her Eviction: ‘Agar Apko Sharam Aa Raha Hai Toh Voh Apka Dimag Hai’

Model and actress Poulomi Polo Das has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry for proudly flaunting her dark complexion and the charisma she oozes while carrying her fashion ensembles. Even during her stint in the Bigg Boss OT season 3, despite being criticised by Shivani Kumari, she stood her ground and never let anyone disrespect her and her work. She has now opened up about facing criticism from trollers because of her dark skintone after her eviction from the show.
In a recent press conference after her eviction from the show, currently hosted by Anil Kapoor, she opened up about the hate comments directed towards her due to her skin colour. She revealed that after coming out from the show, a certain section of the internet has brutally mocked her. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “Waha pe 50-60 comments mere colour pe hai. ‘Kali-kaluti, daayan, raat ko dikhegi nahi. The 28-year-old actress expressed how despite the criticism, she is proud of her skin colour as it sets her apart. She proudly stated that she had been the face of Fair and Glow, earlier known as Fair and Lovely. Quoted by the media publication, the Suhani Si Ek Ladki actress added, “Mujhe nahi fark padta tum kya sochte ho mere baare mein. Mai jo bhi hoon mere colour ki wajah se hoon. Mai alag bhi dikhti hoon na camera pe toh mere colour ki wajah se. Mai is colour ke sath paida hui hoon. Mujhe sharam nahi hai agar apko sharam aa raha hai toh vo apka dimag hai. The current season of Bigg Boss OTT 3 has contestants like Ranvir Shorey, Chandrika Gera Dixit (also known as Delhi’s Vada Pav Girl), Armaan Malik, Kritika Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, Lovekesh Kataria (Luv Kataria), Munisha Khatwani, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Makbul, Shivani Kumari, Sana Sultan, Vishal Pandey, and rapper Naezy. Hosted by Anil Kapoor, the controversial reality show streams on Jio Cinema. In the past week, Neeraj Goyat and Payal Malik were evicted from the house. The recent contestant to leave the house was Poulomi Polo Das.
